ORTHOPAEDIC REHABILITATION
Orthopaedic Rehabilitation is physical therapy specific to recovery from injuries to the musculoskeletal system. Our Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Team includes both physical and occupational therapists.
Our therapists are trained in the treatment of fractures, acute sports injuries, arthritis, sprains, strains, back and neck pain, spinal conditions, amputations, and a full spectrum of other orthopaedic related conditions. More importantly they are trained in the treatment of post-operative procedures such as hip and knee replacement surgery, spinal surgery, rotator cuff surgery, and ACL (knee) repair.
The therapists on our orthopaedic rehabilitation team have a close working relationship with all of the orthopaedic surgeons in our practice. After surgical procedures, a rehabilitation program is tailored to the individual needs of the patient and guided by the surgical procedure.
Our therapists are knowledgeable of your body's limitations after surgery and can help ensure a successful outcome. Promoting independence and helping patients return to an active lifestyle after an injury or surgery are the primary goals of the Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Team.
Our Orthopaedic Rehabilitation department is conveniently located on the second
floor of the Orthopaedic Associates building, along with the Outpatient Surgery Center.
